Secrets Excellence Riviera Cancún
Flickr friend "Flip" is back in Cuernavaca after her three-day break on the Riviera Maya.
She stayed at the Secrets Excellence Riviera Cancún, which re-opened on November 25th. The luxury all-inclusive hotel is located between Cancún International Airport and Puerto Morelos.
Flip tells me that everyone at the hotel went out of their way to make their stay a memorable one.
The wedding ceremonies have already started, even with some palapas still under repair.

My wife and I joined her sister and brother-in-law for a week in Puerto Morelos Feb. 18-25, 2006 – our 1st trip – their 3rd.
Great swimming and snorkeling in front of our condo, the Playasol.
Visited Tulum, snorkled at Akumal at Lagoon off Half-Moon Bay.
Best Puerto Morelos resturant we found was Cafe Finca – great coffee.
Locals were very gracious.
Beaches and water spectacular and the sunshine was a welcome break from winter in Seattle.
Fantastic fresh water swimming in a cenote about 15km east of town called Verde ??

Thanks for your report, Dev. Yes, you most probably visited the cenote "verde lucero". EcoColors, run by an amigo, Kenneth Johnson, takes people on tours there…
