Hi Gary - the easiest way to get to Cozumel is to take the fast passenger ferry from Playa del Carmen. The ferry crossing takes approx. 30-45 mins, depending on the ferry, and currently costs about $90 pesos (approx. US$8.50) each way.

This is the website (in Spanish) of one of the ferry operators. Not sure when this page was last updated: Playa - Cozumel ferry schedule

Dear Steve, Can you inform us about the ferry system from Playa del Carmen to Cozumel. You reported that one of the ferrys has been dislodged and is free from the beach. Is there a set schedule and where do you find it on the internet. Thanks for all your help
