Hey Steve, Just wanted to tell you how much I have appreciated your website. It has been wonderful to be able to track the progress that the hard working people of Cancun have made after such unbelievable destruction.

My two daughters and I have just returned from a week on the beach at the Oasis Cancun and it was wonderful. The only real difference that we saw was the heartbreaking loss of trees and vegetation. Astounding progress is being made on the repair of buildings and landscape. As always we were greeted by warm and friendly people.

We can hardly wait for next years trip!

Rachel

Great site, Steve. Thanks for all the work you've put in. Our family fell in love with Isla Holbox last year, and your site was our one connection to the recovery in that part of Mexico. What we read here gave us confidence to book our second visit, and we were very impressed by how well the island has recovered. Lets hope the gulf gives all of these wonderful people a well deserved break from hurricanes this year.

Congratulations on a job done well.

Whatever the future is for afterwilma.info, you have set a benchmark from which other newsy tourism portals will be measured. This is citizen journalism and commons-based peer production at its finest. Kudos!

Steve,
I check your site everyday because we're going to Cancun in August and you've always had the best pictures of up-to-date beaches, hotels and what-not and I've missed you for the last couple of weeks! I'm glad you're back and I will enjoy all news and pictures you inspire! Thanks for returning!
