Several hotels in San Miguel de Cozumel opened soon after the storm, though some housed only relief and utility workers. The larger resort hotels north and south of town were damaged more severely, as were beach clubs.

Coral Princess
Partially re-opened on February 1st. Sales manager Nohemi Lomas told me on Feb. 8th that the gym, jacuzzi and massage room were still under repair. By Feb. 24th, Nohemi said that they were waiting for new elevators to arrive and also the furniture for the new restaurant. She estimates that the restaurant and gym will be ready by March 15th. The pools and the beach are in excellent condition. Thanks to Nohemi for her responsiveness. Good luck to them!
