Hotel Bucaneroshotel open
Re-opened its 16 rooms on November 10th, 2005. Owner manager Eyder Hoth told me on Feb. 25th that the only work outstanding was some remodelling to one of the suites, which should be complete by mid-March.

Hotel Playa la Media Lunahotel open
Opened all of its 18 rooms on October 26th to an army platoon and later to Federal Electricity Commission engineers. Now open to guests with the deck, terrace, pool and all services fully operational. The only work still in progress is in the gardens, with the planting of new palms and shrubs.

Hotel Posada del Marhotel open
The hotel is across the street from the municipal beach and one block from Playa Norte. Suffered almost no damage – a few broken windows and some uprooted trees. When pruned, new green shoots quickly began to appear in the gardens surrounding the hotel. Re-opened on November 6th, 2005 with all 62 rooms and facilities operating normally.
